From September 1 to October 4, 2023, our EarthCARE committee invites us to pray with and explore this year’s theme of “Let Justice and Peace Flow” rooted in the prophet Amos’ cry to, “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream.”

Philadelphia IHM Sisters Linda Filipponi and Joan Rychalsky volunteered to serve migrants in McAllen, Texas, and Reynosa, Mexico, from July 22 to August 5.

Why do I give to the Sisters?
My Aunts, Sister Ann Michael, Sister Angelus, and many of the others may be long gone but their legacy and their impact will live on in those of us who were taught and shaped by the Sisters.
