Throughout our history, our congregation has engaged with other groups and organizations to meet the needs of those struggling with poverty and marginalization. This has been most evident in the creation and ongoing ministry of our co-sponsored institutions. As the needs of the global community continue to evolve, we will listen to Gods call for engagement and collaboration with others striving to care for those most in need.
Our leadership team gathers four times a year with the leadership teams of the Sisters of Saint Casimir and Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodious to reconnect, share prayer and offer updates on the sisters and ministries of each congregation. The Little Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (PSST) in Riviere Froid, Haiti, is an ongoing priority of the OSP-IHM Haiti Committee. Since our foundress, Mother Theresa Maxis Duchemin was herself a Haitian woman, our love and support for these sisters runs deep through the veins of our heritage.
