Sister Eleace King, Honored for Years of Service at McGlynn Learning Center

On April 12, 2018, at a Recognition Reception honoring the Sisters of Mercy Mid-Atlantic Community and the Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority on the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of the McGlynn Learning Center. Trivia Night with Sisters Attracts Young People

A team of eight women religious representing four communities took on a pub full of young adults for bragging rights, beer and "prayerful pretzels" at a March 13, 2018 trivia night in Arlington, Virginia.

Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Romania

The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board advised Sister Angela Kim, IHM, that she has been selected for a Fulbright award to Romania. She will work collaboratively with international partners at Bucharest University in Bucharest, and Ovidius University in Constanta, Romania, from May 5 to June 8, 2018.

IHM Sister Featured Artist on TV Series

Sister Cecilia Yeon Tji, was invited by a Korean television production company, Korean Catholic Broadcasting, to present her book In Awe of the Gift of Life in Abundance: Spirituality and the Artist.
