Sister M. Nativite Hannon, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Wednesday, February 2, 1927.
She was born on December 18, 1878 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Ellen Loretta. She was the daughter of the late James J. and Ellen Cawley Hannon. She entered the IHM Congregation on January 6, 1907, received the religious habit on July 16, 1907, and made profession of her vows on April 13, 1909.
She is survived by eight sisters, Mary Reardon, Tessie (Teresa), Ellen (Nellie), Theresa, Tracsa, Anna, Agnes and Sister M. Linus, IHM, four brothers, Joseph T., Henry, James, and William Francis, and nieces and nephews.
Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
