Sister M. Paschal Reilly, IHM

Sister M. Paschal Reilly, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Wednesday, January 13, 1932, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Carbondale, PA.
She was born on August 20, 1864 in Archbald, PA, and given the name Maria. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Gilgallon Reilly. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1891, received the religious habit on December 28, 1891, and made profession of her vows on December 28, 1893.
Sister Paschal served as a teacher at St. Paul School and St. Patrick School, both in Scranton, PA.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, William, Michael, James, Patrick and David M., and a sister, Sabina (Lizzie) Reilly.
She is surived by two brothers, John A. of Scranton, PA, and Thomas E. Jr. of Archbald, PA; and several nieces and nephews, including Reverend James R. Reilly of Tunkhannock, PA.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church in Moscow. Interment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, PA.
