Archival Remembrance:
Sister Ligouri was deeply believed by her sisters in religion who had learned to admire her unselfish devotion and sacrifice in the cause to which she devoted her life. She is deeply mourned by a host of relatives and friends, many of whom with her religious sisters, were present at her death. She brought the beautiful spirit fostered in her good Christian home into the convent where her beautiful life, simple, humble, retiring, was an example to all whom she came in contact, and an inspiration to the sisters with whom she lived. Of fourteen members of the family to which Sister Ligouri belonged, only one sister survives.
