Sister M. Ann Scanlon, IHM

Sister M. Ann Scanlon, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, November 7, 1926.
She was born on October 8, 1864 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary. She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Nealon Scanlon. She entered the IHM Congregation on July 23, 1888, received the religious habit on December 27, 1888, and made profession of her vows on August 2, 1891.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anthony Conby; two brothers, Patrick and Thomas; nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
