Sister Jane Marie Ruddy, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on January 22, 1943.
Daughter of the late John J. and Mary Hallinan Ruddy, she was born on September 24, 1894 in Scranton, Pennsylvania; and given the name Mary. She entered the IHM Congregation on February 2, 1922, received the religious habit on August 15, 1922, and made profession of her vows on August 15, 1924.
She is survived by two brothers, James of Scranton; and John of Dunmore; a sister, Kathryn of Scranton; and three nephews.
Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
