Visiting St. Catherine’s Cemetery
Sisters visit St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, PA, where many of our IHM Sisters are buried.
On April 10, Ancilla Maloney, Eileen Egan, Mary Elaine Anderson, Elvia Mata Ortega, Donna Korba, and Kieran Williams—gathered at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow for a meaningful day of reflection and storytelling. They sang together “Holy Ground” and “Standing on the Shoulders” as they prayed in this sacred space. Here more than 1,200 IHM Sisters are buried making it a site of profound historical and spiritual significance for the congregation. During the visit, the sisters spent quiet moments in prayer at the gravesites of dear friends and colleagues, honoring the legacies of those who dedicated their lives. To ensure the memories of these women and all sisters buried at various other cemeteries are preserved for future generations, their records have been carefully documented and are available for viewing on Find a Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/
