Olympian Visits Little Flower School in Bethesda, Maryland

Former Little Flower student and Olympian Katie Ledecky visits her former school and the IHM Sisters.

After all of the events of the Olympics ended, Katie Ledecky travelled home to Bethesda to spend some time with her family. We were delighted to welcome Katie and her Mom to our convent and we had a wonderful visit with them sharing stories of their time in Paris. Katie has a good number of speaking engagements across the country this fall before she returns to her training schedules in Florida.

Of course, you know that we are very proud of this young woman not only for her wonderful accomplishments as an outstanding athlete but for the role model that she is for so many of our youth.
