Baby Goat Snuggling at OLP Residence

Recently, the Sisters and Staff at Our Lady of Peace Residence were treated to a "Baby Goat Snuggling" experience!

Recently, at the suggestion of the IHM Leadership Team and through a generous donation from the IHM Foundation, the Sisters and Staff at Our Lady of Peace Residence were treated to a “Baby Goat Snuggling” experience! The baby goats came from the Steinmetz Family Farm in Berks Co. For almost 2 hrs., the OLP Sisters and Staff and many visitors from the IHM Center had the opportunity to just sit and relax and “fall in love” with the baby goats who were either enjoying sitting on someone’s lap or wandering around as a small herd – experiencing, for the first time, this kind of interaction with humans. Another word for a herd of goats is “a trip.” All those gathered for this “goat-snuggling” would certainly describe it just as that – a “Trip”!
