Sister M. Aloysius O’Neill

Sister M. Aloysius O’Neill, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, December 7, 1901.
She was born on October 17, 1870 in Mount Pleasant Township, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary Jane. She was the daughter of John and Catherine Brodrick O’Neill. She entered the IHM Congregation on January 5, 1891, received the religious habit on August 2, 1891, and made profession of her vows on April 3, 1893.
She was preceded in death by a brother Charles, and two sisters, Elizabeth (infant) and Catherine.
In addition to her parents, John and Catherine, she is also survived by two brothers, James and Paul, three sisters, Elizabeth C. McGraw, Sister M. Beatrice, IHM and Gertrude Kennedy, nieces and nephews.
Interment is at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
