Donation in your will
A well-planned legacy gift can maximize benefits for your family, the Sisters of IHM and the community.
When you plan a legacy gift, you are not parting with current income or assets now. By sharing these assets after your lifetime, you may be able to leave a larger gift than you could today, helping the Sisters of IHM and those we serve even more.
If you are making out your will or planning to add codicil, we invite you to remember the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In this way, you will have a special share in the prayers and works of the Sisters of IHM.
One sentence in your will or trust has the power to support the Sisters of IHM for many years to come. Your attorney can use the following language to create a bequest for the Sisters of IHM:
“I give $____________ (or “_____% of my estate,” or “the following described property”) to the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scranton, Pennsylvania, for its general purposes.
For more information about including the IHM sisters in your will or estate plans, please contact Sister Ann Monica Bubser, IHM, at 570-346-5431 or bubsera@sistersofihm.org.
