A day in the life of an Administrative Assistant for Publication at St. Joseph’s Center (Scranton, PA)

"The sisters I was observing were young, happy, and friendly. I was always struck by their happiness in contrast to what I understood to be their lives of sacrifice."

A day in the life of an Director of Mission & Ministry at Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, FL.

Mi vida vocacional la comparo con la pequeña flor que nace en el desierto. / I compare my vocation to a little flower that is born in the desert.

A day in the life of a Physical Therapist Assistant at Allied Services Rehabilitation Hospital (Scranton, PA)

As I met the Sisters and was able to pray with them and spend time with them, I knew that I wanted to be a part of the community.

Filled with God, filled to overflowing with the energizing and rewarding ministry of working with young people has been gift beyond measure, life "pressed down and running over."

Cada hermana que he conocido, ha colaborado para que mi vocación crezca y se fortalezca. / Each sister I have met has collaborated so that my vocation grows and becomes stronger.

My letting go of self and opening myself to God's plan led me to a tremendous inner peace and joy and a desire to follow wherever God would lead me.

After I graduated from college I decided to do some volunteer work until I figured out what to do with my life. As luck and God would have it, I wound up living with the IHM Sisters in Scranton and volunteering as a nurses' aide in their home for retired sisters.
