Sisters Participate in Fiat and Quo Vadis Days Held at Marywood University

Fiat and Quo Vadis Days are a three-day summer vocation camp for high school students. The 2026 event took place from June 29 to July 1, 2026, at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. Attendees included rising sophomores through graduating seniors. The camp featured prayer, outdoor sports, talks, and fellowship. The camp aims to help young Catholics discern God’s call for their lives through faith-based guidance. Activities during the three-day overnight retreat included: discussions on prayer, religious life, priesthood, and marriage, daily Mass and worship, recreational activities like sports, music, and art, interaction with sisters, priests, seminarians, and Bishop Joseph C. Bambera. The event was organized by the Diocese of Scranton Office of Vocations.

I would like to invite you to share your new ideas or choose one or more ways where you can join in the Vocation Ministry this year. Whenever you are available, and however long, will be greatly appreciated.

• Dream and create new ways to communicate and gather with new inquirers and discerners.  
• Accompany a woman discerning
• Participate in the Fall Service Trip
• Participate in Fall Discernment Retreat
• Attend Bishop’s Annual Picnic in the Diocese of Syracuse, Tuesday, August 4, 2026
• Attend Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, Saturday, November 14, 2026, Arlington, VA
• Attend dinner with Marywood Students (TBA)
• Attend NRVC, National Religious Vocation Conference, November 19-23, 2026, Orlando, FL
• Travel to Peru for three weeks for retreat with Discerners and Summer Program
• Participate in a Zoom with Discerners in Peru by sharing your vocation story
• Host an evening of prayer, meal, conversation with your community or friends
• Help create retreats, discernment days, something new
• Travel to Misericordia University to participate in “Pause and Prayer” with students
• Assist as Spiritual Director
