Sister Mary Patrice Kearney, IHM

Sister Mary Patrice Kearney, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, May 10, 1953 at the Pittsburgh Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She was born on September 11, 1882 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Margaret. She was the daughter of the late  Patrick and Bridget Hughes Kearney. She entered the IHM Congregation on August 15, 1904, received the religious habit on December 8, 1904, and made profession of her vows on December 27, 1906.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas and four sisters, Catherine, Bridget Burke, Rose Clifford, and Helen Cannon.

She is survived by a brother, Michael Francis, two sisters, Cecilia O'Hara and Mary Agnes, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
