Sister M. deChantal McHugh, IHM

Sister M. deChantal McHugh, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, April 22, 1909.

She was born on September 3, 1875 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, and given the name Loretta. She was the daugther of John and Sidney O'Malley McHugh.  She entered the IHM Congregation on June 22,1896, received the religious habit on February 2, 1897, and made profession of her vows on July 15, 1899.

Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
