Sister M. Austin Dougherty, IHM

Sister M. Austin Dougherty, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Friday, December 14, 1928.

She was born on October 8, 1849 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and given the name Rose. She was the daughter of the late James and Hannah Ritner Dougherty. She entered the IHM Congregation on October 9, 1871, received the religious habit on February 2, 1872, and made profession of her vows on August 14, 1874.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
