Sister M. Pierre Connell, IHM

Sister M. Pierre Connell, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, April 13, 1922 in Carbondale, PA. 

She was born on October 4, 1876 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and given the name Teresa.  She was the daughter of the late Frank Thomas and Mary Catherine Connell.  She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1903, received the religious habit on December 31, 1903, and made profession of her vows on December 28, 1905. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, James.

She is survived by six sisters, Sister Mary Amandus, IHM, Sister M. Leonard, IHM, Claire Lenahan, Mrs. William Seymour, and Miss Loretta Connell, two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Aloysius, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
