Sister M. Agatha McDonough, IHM

Sister M. Agatha McDonough, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Monday, June 9, 1947.

She was born on October 25, 1878 in the Minooka section of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Ann. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Bridget Murray McDonough.  She entered the IHM Congregation on January 6, 1897, received the religious habit on July 24, 1897, and made profession of her vows on July 15, 1899.

Interment is at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Pittston, Pennsylvania.
