Sister M. Bonaventure Nailer, IHM

Sister M. Bonaventure Nailer, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Monday, July 27, 1903.

She was born on June 14, 1869 in Archbald, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary.  She was the daugther of William and Bridget McHale Nailer.  She entered the IHM Congregation on December 7, 1894, received the religious habit on July 1, 1895, and made profession of her vows on July 24, 1897.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ann, Ellen, and Lucy.

She is survived by two brothers, John J., and Thomas, three sisters, Elizabeth, Veronica, and Agnes McNulty, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Note: there is a discrepency in our records as to the year of Mary Nailer's birth, our register shows 1869 and the baptismal certificate shows 1868. We also have a discrepancy in the spelling of Sister's last name, our records show Nailor and Naylor along with Nailer.
