Sister M. Visitation Bergan, IHM

Sister M. Visitation Bergan, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, May 3, 1906.

She was born on December 1, 1868 in Waymart, Pennsylvania, and given the name Elizabeth.  She was the daughter of Patrick and Mary Farley Bergan.  She entered the IHM Congregation on September 7, 1893, received the religious habit on May 24, 1894, and made profession of her vows on July 2, 1896.

Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
