Archival Remembrance:

To remember Sister Miriam Catherine Corcoran is to be happy. Sister was one of the most joyful persons one has ever met, always smiling, gracious -- and ever ready with a joke. Sister spent many years in religious education and must surely have given the love of God to the children she taught. Her last ministry before coming to the Marian Convent was as receptionist at the Generalate, where visitors would see a wonderful example of the IHM Spirit of joyful, loving service. Sister Miriam Catherine's greatest gift was that of a prayerful heart. Her prayerfulness could be seen in the many visits she made to chapel, where she spent most of her free time. We are sure heaven is a happier place since she arrived.
