Sister M. Carmelina May, IHM

Sister M. Carmelina May, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, June 15, 1930.

She was born on January 19, 1907 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Veronica.  She was the daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Havard May.  She entered the IHM Congregation on August 15, 1923, received the religious habit on December 27, 1923, and made profession of her vows on August 15, 1925.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie and Margaret.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by four brothers, John Charles "Jack", Frank, Paul Gerald, and Eugene, and a sister, Marion, all of Scranton, PA. 

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
