Sister M. Anacletus Murphy, IHM

Sister M. Anacletus Murphy, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, October 24, 1920.

She was born on May 8, 1881 in Silver Lake Township, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary C. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catharine Laffey Murphy. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1906, received the religious habit on December 27, 1906, and made profession of her vows on April 13, 1909.

Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
