Sister M. Bennet Watters, IHM

Sister M. Bennet Watters, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on March 25, 1948.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Burke Watters, she was born on October 14, 1877 in Avoca, Pennsylvania; and given the name Elizabeth (Lizzie).  She entered the IHM Congregation on February 2, 1896, received the religious habit on July 2, 1896, and made profession of her vows on July 23, 1898.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sister M. Timothy, IHM.

Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
