Archival Remembrance:

With the exception of a few years' teaching at St. Joseph School in Williamsport, Sister Anne Francis was a professor of classical languages at Marywood College for a span of fifty years. In addition to teaching at Marywood College, she taught CCD classes at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Scranton, for approximately forty years. The statue of St. Joseph in St. Vincent's Church was given by the children of the parish as a memorial to Sister Anne Francis. In the early 1980s she retired from teaching to take charge of the Marywood College Post Office.
