Sister Mary Barbara Farrell, IHM

Sister Mary Barbara Farrell, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on October 25, 1901 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.

She was born on November 19, 1871 in Dushore, Pennsylvania, and given the name Anne.  She was the daughter of John H. and Elizabeth Harrington Farrell.  She entered the IHM Congregation on March 25, 1891, received the religious habit on August 2, 1891, and made profession of her vows on April 3, 1893.

She is survived by seven brothers, Francis, Jerome, Leonard, Martin, Theodore, Vincent and Arthur, two sisters, Mary Bridget Donahue and Ellen Donohue, nieces and nephews. 

Interment is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
