Sister M. Redempta Foye, IHM

Sister M. Redempta Foye, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, August 26, 1906.

She was born on January 4, 1881 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Louisa.  She was the daughter of Thomas H. Foye, and the late Margaret Ann Fagan Foye.  She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1900, received the religious habit on December 31, 1900, and made profession of her vows on December 27, 1902.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas.

In addition to her father, Thomas, she is also survived by a sister, Dora Brown, both of Scranton, PA.

Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
