Sister M. Antoinette Lannan, IHM

Sister M. Antoinette Lannon, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, June 12, 1897 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

She was born on September 16, 1851 in Forest Lake, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, and given the name Margaret Cecilia.  She was the daughter of the late James and Catharine O'Brien Lannon.  She entered the IHM Congregation on September 16, 1876, received the religious habit on February 13, 1877, and made profession of her vows on August 27, 1878.

Sister Antoinette enjoyed her years of teaching children in our IHM mission schools.

Interment is at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
