Sister M. Agatha Moran, IHM

Sister M. Agatha Moran, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Tuesday, March 30, 1897 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.

She was born on February 23, 1875 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, and given the name Emma.  She was the daughter of Ann O'Boyle Moran and the late Thomas Moran.  She entered the IHM Congregation on July 1, 1893, received the religious habit on December 28, 1893, and made profession of her vows on April 9, 1896.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and James.

In addition to her mother, Ann Moran of Carbondale, PA, she is also survived by a brother, John J. of Denver, Colarado, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Interment is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
