Sister M. Eustochium Ward, IHM

Sister M. Eustochium Ward, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on December 6, 1951 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

She was born on June 11, 1877 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Katherine. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Schill Ward.  She entered the IHM Congregation on January 6, 1899, received the religious habit on July 15, 1899, and made profession of her vows on July 27, 1901.

Sister Eustochium enjoyed her years of teaching children in our IHM mission schools, including St. Cecilia Academy in Scranton, PA.

Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
