Sister Marie Immaculate Yahner, IHM

Sister Marie Immaculate Yahner, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on April 25, 1930.

Daughter of Isadore Paul and Mary Lavinia Wilt Yahner, she  was born on July 15, 1907 in Cambria County, PA; and given the name Margaret Anna. She entered the IHM Congregation on August 14, 1926, received the religious habit on December 29, 1926, and made profession of her vows on January 2, 1929.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Edwin; and two sisters, Gertrude and Sister Casilda, OSB.

She is survived by six brothers, Paul; Charles; Thomas; Father Cyprin, OSB; Cpl. Germain; James; two sisters, Sister Geraldine, OSB ; and Sister M. Serenus, IHM; nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
