The Silver Circle program was created in 1987 as a way to raise money for the retirement needs of the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. More than two decades later the program has raised more than $1 million for the Sisters of IHM Retirement Fund.
There are no obligations to becoming a Silver Circle members. It is simply a fundraiser that with the help of generous members raises money for the current and future retirement needs of the Sisters of IHM.
Each membership is a donation of $25. For each Silver Circle membership purchased, the ticket will be entered for a chance to win. If four memberships are purchased, there are four chances to win per drawing. Even if a ticket is chosen as a winner, the name is placed back into the raffle barrel for inclusion in the remaining drawings.
A total of 330 prizes ranging $50 to $1000 are awarded throughout the year. Drawings are held once each month from October through June. Drawings are held at the residence of the Sisters of IHM in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
