Sister Elizabeth Ann Buschman, IHM

Sister Elizabeth Ann Buschman of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, died Wednesday, August 19, 1981, in the evening at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, after an illness.

Born on November 7, 1936, she was the daughter of George J. and Anna Lange Buschman, Sister Elizabeth was a native of Baltimore. She entered the I.H.M. Congregation on September 7, 1954, received the religious habit on August 2, 1955, and made profession of her vows on August 3, 1957.

As a teacher of primary grades, Sister Elizabeth served on the faculty of I.H.M. schools in Oneida, NY; Providence, RI; Asbury Park, NJ; Clarks Green, PA; and Wilmington, DE.

In addition to her parents, Sister Elizabeth is survived by  two brothers: Richard Buschman, Waldorf, MD, and George Buschman, Jr., of Millersville, MD; two sisters: Mrs. Mary Jeanne Nason, Sykesville, MD, and Mrs. Dorothy Watkins, Baltimore, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, Wilmington, DE. Interment will be at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, Pennsylvania. Friends may call at St. Matthew Church, Wilmington, DE, Friday evening.
