Sister Marie Elise Loughran, IHM

Sister Marie Elise Loughran, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, February 14, 1948.

She was born on February 29, 1884 in Archbald, Pennsylvania, and given the name Lucy Ellen. She was the daughter of the late Patrick F. and Mary E. O'Hare Loughran.  She entered the IHM Congregation on February 4, 1920, received the religious habit on August 2, 1920, and made profession of her vows on August 15, 1922.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas.

She is survived by a niece, Mary Eugenia Payton of NJ, and a grandnephew.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
