Archival Remembrance:

This gentle humble Sister (Fides Gibson) always seemed to exemplify our Lord's promise that His yoke is sweet and His burden is light.  All who lived with her remember her as a gracious, calm, holy religious who tried to live in God's holy presence.  Her service to the community was characterized by forgetfulness of self and a holy desire to help others.  Throughout her long illness she constantly expressed her gratitude for every service rendered to her.  Calmly and resignedly she prepared for God's coming, and fervently she prayed for the graces of a happy death.  May God grant her eternal rest.
