Sister M. Callistus Wills, IHM

Sister M. Callistus Wills, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on November 18, 1940.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Catharine Elizabeth Mardis Willis, she was born on September 27, 1856 in Loretto, Pennsylvania; and given the name Monica.  She entered the IHM Congregation on December 8, 1881, received the religious habit on April 12, 1882, and made profession of her vows on April 14, 1884.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Adelaide Jones, and Frances Brandt; and a step-sister, Ann Sprout.

She is survived by nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.

Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
