Below is a prayer from Sister Mario's Funeral Mass:

Eternal Triune God in all the joys and sorrows of life we look to you for strength, consolation, and hope. Our hearts are filled with deep sorrow in the loss of our beloved Sr. Mario and yet full of joy in knowing that she is seeing you, her God, face to face for all eternity. You called her to life seventy-seven years ago and you called her to life in our Congregation fifty-nine years ago on Sept. 8, the feast of the Birth of Our Lady. How significant, O God, that on the same day, Sept. 8, you called her into eternal life to know the fullness of joys in your presence for all eternity. Throughout her life, O God, she gave you great glory and praise as she shared her gift of music with so many young people in Rhode Island, New York, and Pennsylvania. Her deep faith and hope was shared as she spread the Good News of our Redemption in many C.C.D. classes and especially as she poured out her life these twenty years in her pastoral work at St. Agnes Parish in Forest City.

The gift of her redemptive suffering these past few weeks gave you the greatest glory of all as she united her sufferings and her passion with yours Lord. As she joins all the saints and angels in heaven to sing her holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts, may she know your peace in all fullness now and forever.

Eternal life give to her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
