Sister M. Caroline Culkin, IHM

Sister M. Caroline Culkin, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Saturday, February 13, 1954.

She was born on April 7, 1896 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and given the name Sarah C. She was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Barry Culkin.  She entered the IHM Congregation on March 25, 1915, received the religious habit on July 6, 1915, and made profession of her vows on August 2, 1917.

She is preceded in death by a sister Mary.

She is survived by three sisters, Nora, Clare and Helen, all of Scranton, PA, two brothers, John of Scranton, PA, and James of Ohio, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
