Sister M. Philothea Geary, IHM

Sister M. Philothea Geary, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Friday, February 27, 1953.

She was born on June 14, 1895 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, and was given the name Gertrude Magdellan. She was the daugher of the late Lawrence and Kathryn Foley Geary.  She entered the IHM Congregation on February 27, 1921, received the religious habit on August 2, 1921, and made profession of her vows on August 15, 1923.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
