Sister M. Macarius McDonnell, IHM

Sister M. Macarius McDonnell, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Tuesday, April 16, 1946.

She was born on September 6, 1863 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, and given the name Ann. She was the daughter of the late David and Catherine Langan McDonnell. She entered the IHM Congregation on July 18, 1881, received the religious habit on November 15, 1881, and made profession of her vows on September 5, 1883.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine and Mary, and three brothers, Patrick, David and James.

She is survived by a brother, John of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
