Below is an archival reflection about our Sister M. Lothaire Saunders:

Sister M. Lothaire's religious life was shadowed by suffering.  She was an excellent teacher, devoted to her student and their needs.  The Sisters who taught with her are mindful of her kindness, generosity, and charity in the many problems which teaching presents.  Illness, often prevented her from exercising the charity which her generous spirit prompted; but she was always willing to offer herself.  Years of physical suffering had made her familiar with pain; but the last stages of her fatal disease drew from her the last full measure of suffering.  She recognized God's summons to eternal life, and she humbly and generously resigned herself to all that God asked of her.  May she rest in peace.
