Sister M. Therese Laraio, IHM

Sister M. Therese Laraio, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Tuesday, September 27, 1938.

She was born on August 21, 1907 in Utica, New York, and given the name Mary Jane.  She was the daughter of Angelina Urgo Laraio, and of the late Rocco Laraio.  She entered the IHM Congregation on July 2, 1926, received the religious habit on December 29, 1926, and made profession of her vows on January 2, 1929.

In addition to her mother, Angelina Laraio, she is also survived by a sister, Patsy.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
