Archival Reflection:

Sister Sarah served the community as an excellent elementary teacher and as a Superior.  Even when a cruel illness might have rendered her helpless, she wanted to go on.  She helped young Sisters in the teaching "know-how" and forgot her own pain in her joy of giving of herself.  In the convent home she was ever doing for others, preparing little surprises for the Sisters and finding peace in making happiness for them.
