Sister Mary Louise Pellow, IHM

Sister Mary Louise Pellow, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, August 24, 1967 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

She was born on August 26, 1933 in Syracuse, New York, and was daughter of the Louis and Mary Lennon Pellow. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1950, received the religious habit on August 2, 1951, and made profession of her vows on August 2, 1953.

Sister Louise served as a teacher at the following schools: St. Ephrem Elementary School in Brooklyn, NY, from 1953 to 1956; St. Edward Elementary School in Twin Falls, ID, from 1956 to 1961; and Pocono Centeral Catholic Elementary School  in Cresco, from 1961 to 1966.

She is survived by a brother, Louis "Bud" M., a sister, Donna Gunson, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
