Archival Remembrance:

After 63 years of unreserved service to the people of God, Sister John Francis Marley entered into eternal life. Her total dedication to serving Jesus, the Redeemer, led her to share the Good News of Redemption as an intermediate teacher and as a principal. She is well remembered by her own sisters for her many years of service to the IHM Congregation. In the 1960s she served as Assistant to the Superior General, Mother Beata Wertz, and later as the administrator of the Marian Convent. She also served her sisters with selfless love as local superior for 27 years.

In her later years, Sr. John Francis served as an instructor in the IHM Congregation's Educational Enrichment Institute until illness required her to move to the Marian Convent in 1990. For one so strong and so generous, the suffering she endured was doubled. Her suffering ended on February 20, when she passed on to eternal life.
