Sister M. Carmelita Charette, IHM

Sister M. Carmelita Charette, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Thursday, June 25, 1936. 

She was born on March 19, 1908 in Centerdale, Rhode Island, and given the name Marie Ida. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Roseanna Bellanger Charette.  She entered the IHM Congregation on September 7, 1929, received the religious habit on April 21, 1930, and made profession of her vows on April 21, 1932.

She is survived by two brothers, Paul T. and Albert, and five sisters, Marie, Bertha, Arline, Evanne, and Antoinette.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
