Sister M. Cyprian Campbell, IHM

Sister M. Cyprian Campbell, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Monday, April 13, 1914.

She was born on August 10, 1855 in Carbondale, Pennsylvanian, and given the name Mary. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Mitchell Campbell.  She entered the IHM Congregation on May 1, 1878, received the religious habit on December 31, 1879, and made profession of her vows on November 15, 1881.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, John and Patrick, and two sisters, Bridget and Ellen.

She is survived by a brother, Thomas of Dunmore, PA, two sisters, Elizabeth Campbell Boylan of Carbondale, PA, and Sister M. Hildegarde, IHM, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at the Marywood College Cemetery, on the grounds of Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
