Sister M. Edith Ralston, IHM

Sister M. Edith Ralston, IHM, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died on Sunday, December 6, 1936.

She was born on January 1, 1901 in Masontown, Pennsylvania, and given the name Mary Catherine. She was the daughter of the late Patrick H. and Mary Elizabeth Evans Ralston. She entered the IHM Congregation on September 8, 1922, received the religious habit on December 28, 1922, and made profession of her vows on December 29, 1924.

She is survived by seven brothers, Dr. Hugh, John Joseph, Edward, Patrick Henry, Francis Robert, Thomas Lawrence and Dr. James Clark, and three sisters, Margaret McGee, Angeline and Eleanor, nieces and nephews.

Interment is at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pennsylvania.
